Event Transportation
Bob Bourne has extensive experience in the planning and implementation of transportation for special events. This includes coordination of fleets of luxury cars and drivers, minibuses, limousines, vans, motor coaches and transit buses. Special events for which he has coordinated transportation range from multiple-day annual events to large-scale conventions, including:

- National Lutheran Woman’s Conference
- Iowa State Fair
- World Food Prize
Bob’s experience includes coordination with public transit and private bus companies to move more than 30,000 people per day around the Iowa State University campus and the City of Ames. Bob worked extensively with the Ames Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, ISU Convention Services, Central Iowa Transit - a local school bus and charter company, and Midwest Transportation - a local charter operator , to meet the transit needs of various groups. From early involvement in the planning of the event to overseeing the actual operations, Bob was extensively involved in all details of coordination and implementation. His efforts earned positive reviews from the ACVB, ISU, and the many conventions that have used ISU.
